TRIBUTE TO JULEN BILLELABEITIA

27th the Biotz Alai Choir will take part in the
tribute that the Basque Country Txistulari
Association will be paying to Julen Billelabeitia,
the prestigious txistulari who is going to be be
awarded its Silver Medal.
For many years Billelabeitia was the conductor of the Txistu Players’ Band of the Uribe Costa district, a txistu player originally from the Itxas Argia Association, and also the conductor of their Santa Ageda Choir. The Biotz Alai Choir will participate in this tribute by performing at 12:00 a.m. in the fields outside the Parish Church of Andra Mari, in Getxo. As well as our choir, Itxas Argia and The Txistu Band of Uribe Kosta will also be performing. Afterwards, there will be a lunch at the Igeretxe Hotel
