THE BIOTZ ALAI’S CROATIA TOUR

The Algorta
choir toured Croatia from July 6th till the 13th,
offering concerts in Dubrovnik and Zagreb as well as
performing in other cities such as Split, Zadar, etc.
A total of 48 choralists, conducted by Josu
Soldevilla, were hugely successful. The concert held
at the Saint Katarina Church in Zagreb proved to be
specially memorable when the choir finished off its
concert repertoire by singing the previously
rehearsed traditional Croatian song Fala (Thanks) as
a farewell, joined by the whole audience on its feet
singing the popular tune along with the choir. The
concert held at the Saint Nousha Church set in the
Dubrovnik cathedral square was also very successful.
The choir was joined on this trip by a large crowd of
relatives and followers, adding up to a total of 120
people.
