The Biotz Alai Choir on Santa Ageda’s Day

Following the
usual tradition, on February 4th the Biotz Alai will
be out on the streets of Algorta singing the coplas
of Saint Ageda. This custom of singing the Vespas of
the martyred saint in all the towns of the Basque
Country will also be observed in Getxo where, at 8 pm
in the Plaza del Metro, several groups will come
together to sing the coplas of Saint Ageda, directed
by our conductor, Javier Oyarzabal, and featuring the
soloists of our choir.
